The H.A.V.E. - Alaska application process is simple. Please send your information to info@have-alaska.org. Include the personal information listed on your (the Applicant's) Driver's License, a brief description of the applicant's injuries, and the activity category or specific H.A.V.E.-Alaska activity(s) of interest (listed on the activities page by number). If you do not see an activity listed, send us a suggestion. Please include a detailed, honest descriptions of the Applicant's physical limitations including any limitations to mobility, balance, sensitivity to temperature and light, and any other medical needs.
Applications are used for informational and logistical purposes only, not to choose who is the most "deserving". If any activity is over-subscribed we will select compatible applicants either on a first come-first served basis or in a random drawing. We will make every attempt possible to accommodate all applicants but some opportunities are very limited. In the event an Applicant is not selected for their desired activity, the Applicant will have a priority the next time a similar activity is offered.
Please check the "Coming Events" page and "Activities" page for upcoming activities and their status. If they are listed as "Full" the applications are closed.
We also ask that Applicants log in to our "Warrior Stories" Page, sign the guest-book and tell a little about yourself, your service, and the activities that have helped you rehabilitate.
